Diana, Maureen and Ta-Taa keeping out of the sun,
poor Ta-Taa she was so hot, she even had some ice in her water,
fishing was a bit slow, so a dragonfly decided to use my fishing rod as a vantage point,
I remembered my hat this time,
Diana decided to try her luck,
and was soon into a fish,
Diana then decided she would like to catch some of the small fry to take home and grow up, but not having much success catching them in a old ice bucket,
she tried and tried, but eventually gave up,
but after using our landing net she some how managed to catch 6 or 7 of them, the biggest just 2 centimeters long,
then back to Nick and Maureen's for a birthday treat, Ta-Taa by now had cooled down and was up for some food!
Maureen had made us a most delicious chicken dinner, the skin of the chicken had been made crispy like pork crackling, it was soooo nice!
"Cheers!" from Diana and me,
and after all of that food Ta-Taa just had to have a nap! a really nice day out for all of us and many thanks to Nick and Maureen for my birthday treat, now time for breakfast, McCain's hash browns and a cup of tea, then off to the bank, drop the printer into the IT center to be repaired, mend the landing net, then feet up for the afternoon, busy, busy!
