a nice big one for me, we wanted to catch 6 or 7 as Mass wanted top prepare some for the street blessing that is happening on Sunday where Mick and Mass rents a house,
a nice one for the pot!
Diana trying to lift the net, put the fish in it and not drop her food,
Mick contemplating the day,
more food arrives!
the guys that work at the park decided to cut down a few coconuts,
meanwhile Mass
and Diana had gone to the land of nod,
very kindly the lads gave us a couple of coconuts, which reminded me of the 50's when they were so expensive, Dad and Grandad took us to a fun fair and won a couple in the coconut shy, when we arrived home and opened them one was a rotten as a pear, but the other was like nectar, those were the days!
then Mass was into a fish,
another one for the pot,
then it was Mick's turn,
we left at about 5 in the afternoon, we put more than a few back, but kept these, a really lovely afternoon,
Nick and Maureen had kindly invited us all over for a chicken casserole, Ta -Ta waiting for her meal
Diana cooling her feet, but in fact it was quite cool and overcast, rain had been forecast but did not appear,
"Cheers!" from all of us and a big thank you to Nick and Maureen, but there was a surprise,
Nick who was a professional chef, grabbed some brandy and cointreau
and made us all some crepe suzettes, Diana tried to take a picture of one in the air, but missed it every time,
