Juu commented in the evenings it is absolutely full, whilst we were there a steady stream of people kept arriving, strange thing was there was a tourist or resident at every table, but as Juu said it is very popular with the local Thai population as well,
Brian who we have not seen for ages also called in,
Juu ordered predominately seafood,
which we all enjoyed immensely, but also we had chicken and beef dishes, I did not see how much the bill was, Juu paid, but Juu said it is not very expensive, but go early if you want a table,
on the way out I saw this palm tree which I think is the Giant Mountain Fishtail palm, (Caryota gigas Synonym: Caryota obtusa), with so many seeds on it, the older riper seeds were on the higher branches,
the more mature they are the darker colour they go,
towards the ground the seeds have hardly formed,
then back home for a lazy afternoon watch TV,
and off to the market for our evening bowl of soup,
still not as many stalls as say 6 months ago, but it is getting fuller,
then to another market for some fresh fruit,
pineapple for snacking on when watching a DVD or two,
Diana was tempted by the bug cart,
but decided none for this evening,
but something on a stick would do,
now being cooked in boiling hot oil,
whilst eating and watching a DVD, the yabbie yet again decided to have another walk about, he/she has done this twice before, both times nearly dieing by drying out, when will it learn the living room is the exact opposite for it!
first DVD The Mummy Returns, a real good boys own adventure, it was strange to see Alun Armstrong playing Baltus Hafez when we had gotten so used to seeing him play Brian Lane in New Tricks,
next End Of Days, would you sell your soul or a strangers address to Satan? watch the movie and see, but I have to say quite thought provoking in the process, especially the lines when you hear Satan speaking,
'It is God's will'
'He moves in mysterious ways' then off to bed.
