so on with the pictures,
first stop for me Bangkok airport, huge and spacious, Heathrow take note about the spacious!
lots of sculptures of Thai history and heritage on display,
some over 50 feet long,
a new world's first in vodka? well it had my vote!
a medicinal wine to steady my nerves, then into the waiting to board section, the rounded design of the waiting area meant that you could look at levels above and below you if you zoomed in on one section,
like looking at these people above and behind,
after an uneventful 3 hours I arrived at Clark airport,
to meet my Diana and her family, younger brother Sandio, Father and Mother
and of course Diana,
great looking clean pool,
we were on the second floor, but with out the pool view,
looking down to the ground/first floor, nice fish pond, but no fish,
except these,
Jeff had arrived a day or so before us as he had travelled from Phuket,
breakfast at the hotel,
a Filipino dish for Diana, she misses Filipino food,
then to Walking Street, Filipino style,
as we relaxed in a road side bar Jeff chatted with Da, there has been quiet a few new developments since our last visit, this being one of them, a new pub called the Blind Beggar, named after it's famous predecessor in London,
we were making our way to the Oasis Hotel, we wanted to book a table for one of Diana's younger sisters, Dioshane's graduation and my birthday party,
the site was once I have been told the officers quarters for the American Air Force which was stationed here,
the main building,
with a large swimming pool at the rear where we in the next post have a cooling drink, I have have split the posts in to smaller bits as it is a lot easier to post them that way, just hit 'older posts'
