but first a walk to Pattaya Beauty on the same road, Diana wanted to buy some finger nail varnish she had seen the manicurist use before our trip to the Philippines, but we could not find any,
as we had to pass the Tuk Com Center we also called in there primarily because I wanted to cancel my phone Internet connection, it was so slow, so we called in at the TeleWizz booth, the lady took my phone tapped in a few things on her computer, done, 1,200 baht a year saved! now why could not everything be so easy?, we also looked for the nail varnish product for Diana but no luck there, but we did find the Dunking Donuts stall!
when we arrived home I found this little fellow on the shopping bags, not sure if it stings, but luckily after a picture it flew off after it's free ride,
as Diana was putting the shopping away I called round to see Mark, he had mentioned he had bought a new sala, I think there are called, a bamboo house for his front garden, very pleasant it was too sitting there having a couple of cups of tea,
after our evening meal we caught up with the news on one of the local channels, the problem is to generate income some times there are so many commercial breaks, each featuring 10 or more advertisements it takes hours to watch a complete local news broadcast, but then we had nothing else to do, but later in the evening we settled down to watch Tod Browning's 1932 Freaks, in black and white of course but even so Diana stopped the film when she went to the kitchen, so I know she enjoyed it, the story is about a circus' beautiful trapeze artist who agrees to marry the leader of side-show performers, a midget, but his deformed friends discover she is only marrying him for his inheritance as she and her lover try to poison him, their revenge is fearful, the film stars many challenged performers such as Johnny Eck, the 'half man', Schlitze, the 'Pin Head' or Prince Randian, billed as ‘The Human Caterpillar’ much to the producer
