By Now We Were Hungry,

so we waited for a taxi outside Snow City,
after a few moments one arrived, then the heavens opened up, it was treacherous going, but we soon arrived at our destination, little India,
like China Town it was full of shops selling souvenirs, gold and food,
even though it was raining the shops had covered over walkways to keep pedestrians dry,
the only problem is that crossing the street meant you got a little damp,
after looking around for a while we decided on Taste of India,
well I had to have a Kingfisher beer,
it even looked like my company logo, but who is that behind the bottle?
'Cheers!',
the food arrived, we had chicken tikka massala, onion bajhees and another chicken dish that we both have forgotten the name of, which is a shame as it was delicious,
after the meal Diana decided to make sure we did not get lost again and looked for the route to our next port of call, our hotel,
so it was goodbye to the Taste of India as we made our way back,
but first we had a look around the area,
there are 3 main temples here, this being one of them,
another square of shops and restaurants,
it had started to dry out by now so a bit of window shopping was the order of the day,
there are so many gold shops here, worse they hold massive stocks of gold, we inquired about the price of one small piece, in UK money £750, moving on,
we both smelt some thing good, I said beer, Diana McDonald's, she was correct, but even though we had a good walk to work up an appetite we decided not to call in,
we were by now almost opposite our hotel, so as jay walking is not allowed we went over the pedestrian footbridge,
the strange thing was that you had to walk down to the basement to take the elevator to the entrance to the walkway, but then back to the hotel.
