some love birds were new for this visit,
along with rabbits, the buck here,
along with a day old kit, (baby bunnie), or as it was known in my youth, this years Christmas dinner,
although it did not look too dark in the photo there was a constant rubble of thunder in the background, but when it did rain it was mercifully light,
after a few hours and beers later still not a bite,
soda for me but still no takers,
but the guy next to us had a bit of luck, he caught a gecko with his landing net,
when he let it go there were so many screams as the rest of his family made a quick getaway,
looked quiet cute really,
for the first time we were joined by a duck, which was strangely the score, neither of us caught a thing!
back to Nick and Maureen's for the evening, some of the seeds Maureen planted are really coming on well,
as are the bananas,
Diana is trying to smile as she eats one of those most bitter oranges,
Maureen had cooked a superb evening meal for us, as we had worked up a huge appetite, not catching anything!
'Cheers!',
then followed by cheese and biscuits,
the fun then began, a game of Monopoly,
play was fast and furious, Diana almost the same as myself last time, had only the four railway stations, then one of us had to sell to pay a debt,
that was it, Diana swept all before her, I was out first followed by Nick then Maureen, we had great fun, many thanks to Nick and Maureen for putting up with us and for Maureen cooking a lovely meal, then for us it was back to 388,
feet up and another out of the Hammer box, The Devil Rides Out, the Duc de Richeleau and his friend Rex discover their young charge Simon has fallen in with the powers of Darkness and is about to be baptized into the service of evil, great thing for me about this movie was some of the cars used in it, if only I had some of those now!
we watched one of series three of Fools and Horses, Friday the 14th, if you remember it was the episode about a fishing trip that went slightly wrong, then as it was getting late, for us off to bed.
