Hot Tubs Seem To Be In The News,

we mentioned a floating one only yesterday,

now it seems that they are becoming de rigueur for cinema audiences, Asher Charman, is the 27-year-old founder of Hot Tub Cinema in Hackney, East London, the venue is complete with Moroccan-style tents and 14 portable spas, rather than having to queue at a multi-screen complex, tubbers watch the films on a roof terrace against the backdrop of London’s skyline, before the evening turns into a pool party complete with DJ,

Asher’s idea started small as he pointed a projector out the kitchen window, onto a bed sheet hung on the washing line, while he and some friends enjoyed a soak in the hot tub, creator Asher Charman said: ‘once I experienced it, I couldn’t help but want to share it with as many people as possible, I discovered how great hot tubs were a few years ago and owned a film projector, and realised I could enjoy both at once,' as well as the 14 portable spas, the cinema lays on a food and drinks with waiter service to your hot tub, sold out at every event, numbers have doubled since the first showing, with up to 100 people taking to the tubs every weekend,

fans have already enjoyed hit films including Top Gun, Anchorman and Zoolander, paying between £25 and £200 for a spot in one of the 14 tubs, Mr Charman hopes to take his idea to Europe and North America, seems like a great idea if you like hot tubs, but think of the weather in the UK, I suppose when it rains umbrellas are provide to keep you out of the wet.
