This Is One Of The 7 Left,

9 were made but 2 were totally wrecked,

so if you fancy a Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour De France which featured with Herbie the Beetle in the 1968 children's film about a lovable Volkswagen, (circled in the picture), the film was The Love Bug, you had better be quick, at the time the 1956 motor was one of the world's ultimate cars, just nine were built by the Italian company, it picked up its Tour de France name thanks to its dominance in the famous ten-day road race that shares a name with the famous cycle contest, between 1956 and 1962, the 250GT won the gruelling race seven times in a row,

it is now one of the most expensive cars to ever come onto the open market in England with Talacrest boss John Collins, who has bought and sold all of the world’s great Ferrari's, has described the model as 'pristine', He said: 'this Ferrari is very rare, they hardly ever come onto the market, there were just nine built and two of these were lost to crashes, it is in pristine condition and has won numerous awards, it is an incredibly sought after car,' so there you have it,

for the technical, the Ferrari 250 GT had a 240bhp 2,953 cc single overhead camshaft V-12 engine with three Weber carburetors, four-speed all-synchromesh manual gearbox, independent front suspension with unequal-length A-arms and coil springs, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and parallel trailing arms, and four-wheel drum brakes, it has a top speed of 145mph and could do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds,

for the non-technical it is rumoured to be going for £4.7m, and yes of course I would like it!
