We Started The Day,

with some more painting,

Nick and Maureen's present of a fishing tackle box coming in handy,

I painted the tall parts of the fence, whilst Diana painted the shorter bits,

peek-a-boo! during the day both Mark and Phil called round for a coffee and a chat, we then had a telephone call, a friend had arrived from the UK,

so we arranged to meet in Witherspoons in Soi Bukaow, which was conveniently close to Oasis a go-go,

one of the many mobile stalls went past, this one selling shoes,

then who should arrive? none other than Harvey, fresh in from the UK,

after we caught up on what was happening we decided to make a move, just as another mobile stall went past, also in the picture the Korean GP is on at 13.00 on Sunday local time, now here is a thought about motorcar racing, have they not thought that if they did not drive so fast they would not keep crashing?

we were joined by two of Harvey's friends, John and Darren for the evening, after we had a drink, well for me two as it was happy hour in Oasis we made a move to LK Metro,

Sugar a go-go was having a party with roast pigs to snack on, but we walked by,

along the street to a few more venues,

this the first on the right,

the office, for I think just the one, or maybe two,

convenient for us Champagne was nearby, so a look in there, then John came over all hungry, he just had to eat something so he disappeared, for the rest of us we were not hungry,

and we just had to stop in MASH,

with this flyer we just had to,

a map, just so you know where we were in case you want to look for yourself, by now John had rejoined us licking his lips and looking truly satisfied with his snack, then we were on our way,

on the way out of LK Metro I took a picture of the sign over the street,

and two of the Champagne ladies under it,

motorbike taxis for all next to Walking Street, under the Samsung sign,

 and into the street,

 so many signs,

I just love all of the neon,

in case you are wondering I missed a bit of the sign, the Lobster Pot was established in 1986, a few years after my first visit to Thailand,

we made our way past the Simon II beer bar complex,

to where else? Champions of course, we had a couple in there then as it was just past midnight we all parted, some to party the night away,

but for me a stop at a food stall, a couple of hot dogs for Diana and a piece of chicken for me, we watched a couple of programmes on television, then for us we were off to bed.
