We Were Going To Book A Trip To The Waterfalls,

but when we looked at the itinerary,

of the 8 places listed to visit we had already visited 5 of them on the motorbike we had a hired, so off to the local beach we went instead, walking past the new beer garten in the daylight,

down the hill we pasted the local shops, one thing amongst others about Paddy's Palms is that it has so many stores nearby,

we walked past a local shrine,

and saw an outlet that we had seen many times in Pattaya,

 and this was it,

the wooden scaffolding is now one floor higher,

but we were on a mission, yesterday whilst listen to a speaking book I went stone dear in one ear, but closer examination discovered that the right hand speaker in my headphones had failed, well you know me with anything electrical, so we found this shop and bought another pair of headphones, just under 300 baht and we were on our way,

 walking through to the beach,

we decided to stay under this overhanging tree as it was in the shade,

we wanted to stay there as we did not want to get burnt again,

 the beach was deserted,

 in both directions,

I was really enjoying myself, the new headphones were so much better than the last pair, I just hope these last a bit longer!

whilst sitting there I decided to make a record of some of the beach vendors that walked past,

one of the many great thing about Koh Chang,

is that the beach vendors are so unobtrusive,

 just walking past,

and waiting to be called over,

the goods they sell range from moving wind birds,

to of course all manor of things for the sea,

 floating rings going past,

 next more moving birds,

plus beach sheets I guess you would call them,

this was where we were staying, the Salsa Bar,

a beer for me and a coconut for Diana,

 more beach sheets,

 blowing in the wind,

 and another beer for me,

as the rubber or I should say plastic ring man came round,

 followed by another,

 and then one more,

and lastly another beach blanket seller,

 by now it was afternoon,

late afternoon as the sun was going down,

and the Thai Fun made it's way back to anchor,

 the sun was setting,

 but before it was gone,
a lonely boat made it's way across the horizon,

 and past the sun,

 just before it set,

 and then it was gone,

making our way back to the hotel I spotted this bike,

 unusual to say the least,

past one of the resort shrines,

and across the road for a baht bus, but what these tourists did not see,

was just above then a monkey was playing in the cables,

after having a shower we went back to the beach for our evening meal,

the kitchen was in full swing,

with food being prepared at the Sea Bar, we had eaten here before so we thought we would repay it a return call,

we had a look at the food on offer to tempt us,

 shellfish, shrimps and squid,

 fish,

 and then meats,

 plus of course kebabs,

 'Cheers!',

Diana ordered a mango shake to go with her salad,

 our first course arrived,

 mussels,

followed by garlic bread, a baked potato and spare ribs,

 shortly backed up with,

a huge plate of garlic prawns,

the meal was superb, as was the fire show, as I had photographed it before I did not take any pictures, I just sat back and enjoyed the show,

but I did take a picture of the Kerosene Kids who were 3 of the 5 performers,

next a move back to Paddy's Palms, Diana fancied a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, naturally I had to help her eat half of it, then for us we were off to bed.
