Day 19,

first thing in the morning Steve decided to have a health check,

so he did not eat or drink anything for the past 10 hours or so,

anything like this is so easy out here, walk into a clinic in the early morning, samples taken, then call back at 5.00 in the afternoon, which he did and all was well, he chose the Program 4,

but there was one program that made us chuckle, Program 6, Before Marriage Program, it was the wording of the first line, before marriage check for vital signs! well we thought it was funny,

just a thought, if ever your Internet or telephone goes down,

it could be one of these, it always amazes me how the technicians know which is which,

today we went to the Surf Kitchen

on Jomtien Beach Road for breakfast,

we were joined by Kai's sister Meaw and her husband Toa who is a builder, Steve is having some work done on his house and Toa will be doing the work, we spent the day at home,

then in the evening we were off to Pricha Seafood restaurant,

it is a seafood restaurant in Ban Amphur,

we always bring our own wine with us,

but first a look at some of the items on the menu,

fish,

crabs,

mantis shrimps and clams,

lobsters,

and shellfish are all here,

we sat outside, the waiter had a good memory, not only did he remember us he knew what we were going to order,

I did not remember the stairs to the beach,

but I was told they were here last time,

the sun starting to set,

all of the outside area has been refurbished,

and nice it looked too,

the sun getting lower,

the moon going higher,

Steve and Kai together now for some 14 years,

our first two soups arrive,

as a speck appeared in the sky,

a micro light passed nearly overhead,

the sun setting soon,

a pity there were not more clouds for the sunset,

but there it is,

still no clouds meant more pictures of the moon,

back to the food, seafood rice,

baby clams,

morning glory,

prawn doughnuts and scallops in butter,

I am not sure what this one was, but it came with beansprouts,

and to round the meal off a whole crab in a yellow curry, delicious!

the restaurant is about a 20 minute drive from Pattaya,

to find it leave Pattaya going towards Sattahip, past the Ambassador Hotel on your right, at the next set of traffic lights turn right, after a hundred yards or so turn left,

after about 300 yards the restaurant is on the right, but the car park you will first see is for another restaurant use the second carpark and this is what you will see, our taxi took us home feet up, a drink, a film and we were off to bed.
