until the middle of next week,
along with Steve and Kai we will visiting Snowdon and Anglesey, but first back to Friday, Diana meet up with Wilma, for a girls day out window shopping, first, coffee and cake in Costa,
and a look around this shop,
with these disco balls as decoration, after a good look around many shops,
next for lunch, a Vietnamese meal,
stir fried noodles for Wilma,
for Diana,
noodle soup with beef,
at one of the Pho restaurant chain,
before moving on to the West Ham Stadium,
a massive slide Diana thought it was,
the stadium, next an afternoon of window shopping at the Westfield shopping complex at Stratford,
Wilma and Diana had another coffee,
and a cake, what a tiring day the girls had! meanwhile for myself I did the usual, the house husband thing, hoovering, cleaning and toping up the aquarium, also changing the water in the flowers on the table and giving the plants in pots a water, bearing in mind we would be gone for more than a few days, also it was time to charge the cameras batteries ready of the trip,
when Diana had returned it was time for a sherry and a read,
for tonight,
chili con carne,
for dessert sticky toffee pudding with fresh cream, and now a bit of fun, you may remember back in October 2020,
I took this photograph amongst many when we were in the Landmark Hotel, Diana was wearing a River Island dress, someone from the company spotted this and asked if they could use the photograph, we said yes, the same week a number of free samples arrived in the post, snice then every week or so a few cosmetic and perfume samples have arrived, when Diana returned from London today, all of these were waiting on the doorstep,
samples from Yves St Laurent, Mugler, Giorgio Armani, Clarins, Philip Kingsley and Jean Paul Gaultier, it was like Christmas all over again! next for us feet up for a episode of New Tricks, a spiced rum nightcap for myself, then as we had a 06.00 start we were off to bed.
