the blog posted and I was out,
to visit Duncan, he was his usual self, our card had arrived, so two cards on the window sill, we chatted away I mentioned that I had been to Pauline's funeral and that tomorrow evening Diana and myself will be watching Have I Got News For You being recorded somewhere in Hammersmith, Diana had arranged the tickets as a birthday present back in April, but only recently told me about them, what a surprise when I found out, Duncan mentioned the escalating tensions re Ukraine and Russia, which he found a bit of a worry, but as I mentioned for us I think we are well past being conscripted!
when his lunch arrived I made a move for home, where I had some paperwork to complete and then I started on a photograph that I took on one of our visit with Steve and Kai to Bath,
I decided to play with this photograph of the River Avon at Pulteney Weir, luckily the photograph had plenty of detail,
you can see the time of the next trip on the side of the boat,
I played with the image a tad, and printed a A4 sized print of it, but I was not really happy with it, so I will try again the next time I am at the computer, by now it was time for my evening meal,
so first a read and a sherry,
followed by a cottage pie, 'Cheers!', after my meal a Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch, and then a nice change, a old film released in 1960 that I had not watched before,
Spartacus, it was a epic story of Roman times, I am not sure why I had never seen it before, but with a all star cast plus thousands of extras it was a good way to spend the evening until Diana arrived home, then feet up for a coffee and a chat whilst we watched a Have I Got A Bit More News For You, during all of this Diana bought the tickets for her trip from Thailand to the Philippines for our holiday later in the year, after which we were off to bed.
