I had a few things to pick up and drop off,
so out into a cloudy but warm day, the sun occasionally breaking through,
off of the tram at Ampere Way,
and a quick walk towards the IKEA chimneys,
next week we are going to see 28 Years Later, the front and car park of IKEA was perfect for filming it, not a soul insight! Saturday and the whole place was like a ghost town! I went to the click & collect expecting a wait, but no, I checked in, my number next to be picked and I was out, amazing!
arriving back at Beckenham Junction, it was a walk past the green to the number 54 bus stop,
alighting at This 'N' That, then across the road to Kingfisheries to drop off some printing, arriving home I played with a few photographs, next Saturday the photograph club I belong to the Beckenham Photographic Society is having a exhibition, the BPS has been invited to take part in the Summer Fair at Harris Primary Academy, St Georges Road, Beckenham Green BR5 5JG on Saturday 28th June, so yes I will be there helping out putting up the display for the club, so if you are in the area from 1 in the afternoon until 4 please call in a say Hi,
soon it was time for my read and sherry,
followed by a cottage pie, 'Cheers!',
after which my film for the evening, Contact, a well thought out and crafted film, the technical side was well taken care of, as author and producer Carl Sagan was helping with all technical matters, unfortunately he died during production. He was reportedly taking great care to ensure that science was accurately depicted in this movie, after which Diana arrived home, so feet up for a coffee and a chat before she was off to bed, for myself a Bangers & Cash before I too was off to bed.
