the aroma of a Sunday roast filling the air,
in the garden, just one fox today,
taking in the rays,
it was soon time for my read and sherry,
for our starter today a king prawn salad,
which we drizzled with lemon,
next roast pork with crackling, with gravy for Diana sans gravy for myself,
'Cheers!',
we followed that with a real treat, a rich chocolate sponge which had banana, butterscotch and pecan with cream and a half of a chocolate covered ice cream each, and more cream, diet starts next week!
it was a chocolate overload! but oh so nice, after a long break we watched a Columbo, unfortunately the next one we had watched recently, so a DVD it was,
The Man with Two Brains, Doctor Michael Hfuhruhurr, the world's greatest neurosurgeon, injures Dolores Benedict in a car accident, He operates on her and saves her life using a technique of his own invention: cranial screw-top brain entry, as Benedict recovers, Hfuhruhurr falls in love with her and they are soon married, but it is not quite a marriage made in heaven with so many funny results, after a snack we decided to round the evening off with black & white horror,
with Night of the Demon, as it is known in the UK or Curse of the Demon in America, we have watched the film so many times and still thoroughly enjoy it, black and white of course, which almost makes it all the more frightening, after which Diana was off to bed, for myself one from Have I Got More News For You, before I too was off to bed.
