blog posted,
and I was out to visit Duncan, it was a grey day, with intermittent drizzle all of the drive down to the nursing home where he stays, arriving there he was in his room, where he prefers to be and awake, we chatted about our upcoming visit to watch Jeff Dunham later this week, he is one of my all time favorite comedians, and has as Diana says, my character in one of his puppets, Walter, just a taste of Walter,
a grumpy old man, when Duncan's lunch arrived we said our farewells,
outside the day had improved dramatically, still cloudy but nice and sunny a lot of the time,
the roses looking nice again this year, although not so many bushes in flower as last year, on the way back I made a detour,
to visit Mick, who was preparing a bar b q for himself and his dog, we chatted away until I made a move for home,
where I started playing with a couple more photographs I carried on with the illuminated creature that we saw in Crystal Palace Park that I started on yesterday, this cheeky chappie one of them, above out of the camera,
whilst I was playing with the above, two of the foxes called by,
one looking at me warily,
the other tucking into the peanuts,
but he heard the camera shutter and looked up,
snack finished and time for rest,
it was now time for my evening meal, but before that a read of the latest Private Eye that arrived today,
'Cheers!', as I tucked into a huge chicken curry that Diana had left for me, Diana and myself both like many films, but, some Diana does not take a shine to that I really like, and one of those is,
Brazil, so as Diana was at work after a Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch, Brazil it was, if you have ever had to battle with bureaucrats this is the film for you, here is what I wrote the last time I watched it, 'Sam Lowry is a harried technocrat in a futuristic society that is needlessly convoluted and inefficient, while trying to rectify the wrongful arrest of one Harry Buttle, Lowry meets the woman he is always chasing in his dreams, Jill Layton, meanwhile, the bureaucracy has fingered him responsible for a rash of terrorist bombings, and both Sam and Jill's lives are put in danger, how to describe Brazil? a sort of 1984 but made with Monty Python steroids and a lot more humor thrown in!' the strange thing is, every time the telephone rang in the film my telephone rang as well!, yes you guessed it, I like the ring tone and the film so much I made my ring tone the same, as it ended Diana arrived home, and then we decided to start on our box set of It Ain't Half Hot Mum, that arrived today, and nice it was too starting at the very first in the series, after which we were off to bed.
