27-Year-Old Charity Raft Race Sunk!
another tradition and bit of fun sails down the river,
by the health and safety demands of police and council risk assessors, the River Rother raft race at Midhurst, West Sussex, held on August Bank Holiday this year raised £13,000 for Macmillan Cancer and other charities, but now participants will no longer run the risk of getting wet, the nanny state still survives! it should be borne in mind it has never suffered a serious accident in its 27-year history
