after a quick look around a selection is made, most fish in the 15/25 baht each range,
nearly dropped one,
not the cleanest of aquariums, once they have settled in I will take a couple of pictures tomorrow,
then home, tuna salad, glass of wine what could be better, incidentally many thanks to Colin, he called to say Friendship does have low calorie mayonnaise, but it is in plastic squeeze containers not the glass ones I was looking at, thank you Colin,
after watching some television we settled down to Avatar,
on our new Blu-Ray Sony BDP S 370, we had already seen Avatar on the big screen in 3D, if you have not seen it I would recommend it, just for the special effects, the new machine and Blu-Ray system for me made no difference over the Toshiba HD we already had, I tried the same normal DVD in both machines, to me they were the same although Diana said she thought the Sony up scaled better, we bought the Sony as the now defunk HD system is not producing any new movies,
then Deep Impact, another end of the world movie that seems to be so popular with us, again although dated great special effects,
then on to Cadfael, a Crusader-turned-Monk uses his botanical knowledge to solve mysteries in the old Norman England village of Shrewsbury, we watched One Corpse Too Many, assigned by King Stephen to dispose of 94 hanged rebels, Cadfael discovers the body of a murdered man among the corpses and given just four days to solve the crime,
followed by The Sanctuary Sparrow, Liliwin is a poor acrobat hired to entertain at an Aurifaber wedding, but when he is dismissed and the master of the house is found unconscious and robbed, Cadfael must find the real thief before the mob takes vengeance, both entertaining to watch, not as spectacular as some of the other productions, The Tudors for instance but well worth watching never the less, by now it was 2.30 in the morning so we watched the last half of the England game, then off to bed.
