Nick and Maureen called in as they were in town,
as none of us had lunch and we all had no plans for our evening meal it was on the phone to the Tikka Center in Soi Buakhao,
nice food with a delivery service,
after Nick and Maureen had left we settled down to a couple of DVD's
Irish born Bram Stoker's Dracula getting the evening off to a scary start, we all know the story of Dracula, but for me this was one of the better tellings, especially with a look into the past as to how the renouncing of faith lead to his (Dracula's) creation,
then on to another film we had seen a long time before, Joan of Arc, a semi historical/factual look at the times and trial of Joan, I guess some of the court records survived from that period so there was a basis for the court part of the film, also a reenactment of the vicious hand to hand conflict and hatred between the English and French at that point in time, great cast and performances from all, we followed this with another episode of The Tudors then off to bed.
