a bit difficult to see, but as I was driving along there was a 'timber!' moment, then in for a cuppa at Mark's house,
before picking up Diana and heading to the Weekend night market on Thepprisit,
Diana had bought a phone card from the 7 - 11, so with out knowing I was looking I took a quick picture of her as she was talking to her Mum, also I snuck up behind her and said boo! she sure did jump! he-he!,
we were a bit early so many of the stalls had not set up yet,
and the walkways still had food carts in them,
fresh peanuts and drinks,
a first for the market, a magic stall, I have often seen guys in Walking Street selling a few magic tricks, but this was the first time I had seen so many and on a stall here, look out Joe!
nothing at all opposite the bar this week,
no prizes for guessing who is getting a dress here!
in the next few stalls down, 'the grey one or the blue one?' note the decision to buy one had already been made, the question is which one!
flip - flops down to 59 baht, I am still looking for the health and safety ones with steel toe caps!
naturally I have to hold all of the shopping whilst Diana goes on another shopping foray,
but nothing purchased this time,
then home past one of the market shrines,
but we had to stop at some of the food stalls before we left,
then home for our evening meal,
with a glass of medicinal red wine,
along with broccoli, fried potatoes with bacon and onions, delicious,
then our evening DVD, Hidalgo, set in 1890, this is the story of a Pony Express courier who travels to Arabia to compete with his horse, Hidalgo, in a dangerous race for a massive contest prize, in an adventure that sends the pair around the world, a bit far fetched? well no it is based allegedly on a true story, but is it?
the main problem is this, though it is a race, the name of the film is Hidalgo, the name of the horse? Hidalgo, what is the name of the horse that wins the race? Hidalgo, so you know who wins before the film even starts, but that aside a truly great film and well worth watching, then a few One Foot In The Grave, one more of The Tudors, then off to bed.
