this is the sign you see if you are coming from Third Road,
plenty of places to park next to the newly refurbished gym,
building work is still going on at the front of the building,
but the pool is now complete,
with the onset of the rainy season a covered in area has been provided on two floors,
relaxing with a book - it is just like being on holiday!
Diana takes to the water,
then lunch, two club sandwiches, coffee and a water with pool charges 240 baht,
as we left the pool we made our way to Friendship for a few items, but first a chat with Grieg who we bumped into there,
another stop at the fruit stalls on Pattaya Tai,
we wanted some mangoes for this evening,
after the smoked salmon salad,
then feet up for The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, as a reviewer said 'Having never seen them I stumbled across the first series on DVD ... they are typical British television in the best sense... literate, beautifully acted (with an amazing cast list) and with a marvellous sense of period,' I also had never seen or heard of these, but so far they have proved excellent viewing, Joe called around getting ready for his trip home,
then a episode of Cadfael, The Rose Rent, a beautiful, wealthy widow turns her back on the world to find solace with the church and gives her house over to the abbey for the rent of a single white rose each year, after that, off to bed.
