if you want to give KPK Foods a try here is the map, easy to find with lots of parking outside, we also went looking for Slim Jim's house, but try as we might we just could not find it, we have telephoned him a few times with no success so we thought we would call round, but after driving up and down more than several Soi's looking for his home we gave up,
then home for some aquarium maintenance,
no sooner had I finished that then Jay and Precil called round, the girls watched scary DVD's downstairs whilst Jay and myself decamped upstairs to chat the afternoon away,
for our evening meal Diana decided to make a huge prawn salad starter from some of the prawns we bought yesterday in Makro's,
and with a twist of lime delicious they were too,
naturally we also had to try the sausages from KPK Foods, bangers and mash with peas and onion gravy, no wonder I am putting on weight!
we bought two packs of Cumberland sausages 5 in a pack at 110 baht a pack,
in the evening we settled down with some fresh fruit, tonight some of those sweet pomegranates from Makro to watch The Big Country retired, wealthy sea Captain Jame McKay arrives in the vast expanse of the West to marry his spoilt fiancée Pat Terrill, her father is involved in a ruthless civil war, over watering rights for cattle, with a rough hewn clan led by Rufus Hannassey, a truly great film in every sense of the word, nearly 3 hours long but the time just flew by, for a more detailed look at my thoughts about it here is a piece from a previous post I wrote about it, scroll down to the bottom of the post,
then two from the Frost box, Close Encounters autistic teenager Laurence Burrell who is the only witness to an attack on a security guard at Denton's last remaining quarry and is hauled in by the police, later escaping back to the quarry, which he threatens to blow up, Frost is also kept busy when a woman claims that her ex-partner has abducted their young son, followed by Held in Trust, Bobby Palmer has gone missing whilst at a football match with his father, and there seems no doubt that the corpse discovered in a shed is his, the body of a second, malnourished boy, is also found dumped but this at least allows Frost to save a third lad from a grasping family, Held in Trust certainly brings home the terrible reality of paedophiles and their horrendous crimes, and an even worse fact that their human rights are more of a priority than their victims, it is the most hard-hitting edition of A Touch of Frost we have watched, it opens up a lot of serious questions, then for us off to bed.
