Today I carried On Playing With Stamps,

but also took the truck to the garage to book it in for repair, the insurance company has 2 'approved' garages in the area, one about 4 kilometers from town the other one? the garage near us where I had the paint job done, so after a quick look I was told they would call when the spare parts had arrived, the damage is not that great just a bent bumper/fender, but I can not open the tailgate so it has to be done, then back to the stamps till Phil, Slim Jim, Jay and Precil arrived, we then had a phone call form Mike to say he was on his way with Riza which was my cue to dodge the rain showers and bike to the Royal Indian Hut restaurant, it is the one we normally go to, but they do not offer a takeaway service as such, you have to go there to pick up the food,
Mike and Riza had arrived by the time I returned, thankfully I missed the downpours, strange the amount and time of the rains this year,
we were all chatting merrily away,
whilst downstairs the kitchen was a hive of activity,
Anchsia also called in to say Hi!,
we were so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the Indian meal, but there was loads of it, delicious it was too, after putting the world to rights it was time to for all of our friends to make their way home, a great night chilling the breeze,
then for us feet up and another re-run of New Tricks, this episode went to the dogs, the team is supposed to be investigating the conviction of Stanley Ackerman, whose wife is continually protesting in front of the station, the man was convicted of setting his factory on fire, but Jack sees an number of anomalies in the evidence, in another part of the story, Joe Jacobs had been attacked on the street and it was put down to a mugging with no arrests, but they determine that his death was related to the kidnapping of a champion greyhound racing dog, then for us off to bed.
