This Is One Of Those Good luck Stories I Like So Much,

many years ago a couple bought a few pictures,

by a little known artist LS Lowry, who later became well known and whose work became very collectible, they hung the paintings they paid small sums for on the walls of their home - and watched the reputation of the Lancashire artist grow, the couple died and left the paintings to their 4 children who eventually decided to sell them after keeping the paintings in a cupboard for the past three years, well their parents certainly had an eye for art as the paintings went for nearly £400,000! now that was lucky for the kids, thinking back my Mum and dad had a couple of paintings hanging on the wall of our house back in the 1950's, that were painted by the local policeman, they were signed Constable.
