I did not take a picture today!
we did go out though, we have been looking at the prices of some breaks to other countries, typically in the UK Daily Mail, especially the Saturday edition, where the price of a short break seems quiet reasonable, but there is the rub, all of these deals assume you are in the UK, so we went to the local travel agent, the price of just the air fare to say Egypt was as much as the full 5* holiday full board with all excursions in the news paper, oh well at least we tried, so after Mark and a few other friends called round we watched From Hell, we had bought it on a Blu Ray disc, and very nice it looked too, it becomes apparent that women are being hunted down, one by one, sinister even by Whitechape standards, the murder grabs the attention of Inspector Fred Abberline, a brilliant yet troubled man whose police work is often aided by his psychic abilities, though this was not the case in real life,
Atlantis was not about the fabled city, but a underwater film by Luc Besson, it was interesting to watch as the film featured turtles, dolphins, dugongs, manta rays and a shark feeding frenzy, but for me it was not the eye candy I was expecting,
well we just had to watch the Bluray The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, seen by pretty much every body it was still enjoyable to watch it again, the ancient Ring thought lost for centuries has been found, but too powerful for one person to wear, it must be destroyed, great stuff,
to round off the evening another chapter of Richard Hammond's Invisible Worlds, more than interesting to watch, but just a bit annoying when he opens with, 'never before seen in film' when in fact the phenomenon has been recorded more than a few times before, then for us off to bed.
