Phil had arrived back from a business trip to India,
I looked at some plants he had growing in his front garden,
then a trip to the Punch & Judy for a cool beer,
back to our house to pick up Phil's bike, but a quick call home to the UK for some local news before setting off,
on the speed machine,
then it was time to get ready for our evening meal,
motorbike taxis to a very deserted town,
well it was only 6.30 in the evening,
a very quiet Walking Street,
we had decided on a seafood supper, so a walk to the seafood restaurants,
a peruse through the menu,
then in we went,
we were one of the first customers there,
so we were spoilt for choice as to which table,
decision made next order the food,
we choose a table over looking the bay,
and some of the other restaurants,
shrimp cocktail starter, 'Cheers!',
one of the floating restaurants in the bay,
then disaster struck, the battery in the camera failed and I had forgotten the spare, but we took these on my phone, I should mention we had a large plate of mussels before the main course,
which consisted of grilled saba fish, mixed stir fried vegetables with prawn fried rice, with 3 glasses of wine and two shakes for Diana the bill came to just over 900 baht, which for a Walking Street seafood restaurant I thought was fair, what we did also notice was that they had a special on Alaskan King Crab, just 1,900 for half a kilo, may be next time!
then home feet up for Shaun of the Dead, a man decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother, and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living, great fun then for us off to bed.
