but the floods of yesterday meant we had to take a torturous route to get to Soi 5 in Jomtien,
it must take more than a little time and trouble to make the display,
today two bowls of floating flowers,
whilst at immigration we bumped into Alex, so he also joined us for a bite to eat,
looking across the road to the sea, the normally blue waters in the bay had turned a muddy brown,
after returning home and finishing our evening meal we settled down for a comedy The Men Who Stare at Goats, it was an interesting film, but not really that funny, the basic plot was that a reporter, trying to lose himself in the romance of war after his marriage fails, gets more than he bargains for when he meets a special forces agent who reveals the existence of a secret, psychic military unit whose goal is to end war as we know it,
then another from MI5, in episode #8.3 a terrorist group takes control of a group of very rich entrepreneurs who are meeting secretly in London, streaming the proceedings over the Internet and asking viewers to vote on whether they should be executed or not, the first is fund guilty, but will the kidnappers do what they say they will? followed by episode #8.4, the MI-5 team is still recovering from the loss of one of their own, then American, agent Sarah Caulfield's superior, learns of her affair with Lucas North and he encourages her to continue the relationship as he suspects Lucas is a double agent, but is he?
I have not put anything else on the blog today as I am anticipating a busy day shopping first then having let the 'office' dry out and hearing a loud electrical bang when it flooded I am going to see if the monitor, computer, printer, scanner, external drives etc work when I plug them all back in, hopefully it will not be a trip to the repair shop! but after the last MI5 we were off to bed.
