but we did pop outside,
to TulkCom, for a couple of things, every so often my computer did not recognise the scanner, but by un and then re-plugging the cable the computer magically recognised it, but not today so I decided to buy a new cable, also we had run out of bulbs for the two side lights we have in the living room, when the kittens have a mad 5 minutes they always seem to knock one of the lights over, resulting in a bulb not working after crashing to the ground 3 or 4 times, so purchases made, an ice coffee and tea and we were back home, the computer now recognises the printer, the lights work and all is well in our world, after our evening meal we watched a 2 hour documentary about Napoleon making his way to and capturing Moscow, and his return to France, unfortunately I do not know the name of the 2 part documentary, all I can say was that it was extremely good using 3D rederings and actors filling out the scenes, as an aside the Battle of Borodino on Napoleons way to Moscow was one of the most costly in human lives of the entire Napoleonic Era, and some say that more people died here than on any other day in any other battle in all of recorded history, we then watched some Judge Judy, followed by,
Robot Overlords, the world has been taken over by robots but a band of intrepid fighters in Britain takes them on after discovering they can disable a personal tracker implanted in their heads, I was about to say the movie was saved by Sir Ben Kingsley, but perhaps that is a little unfair as some of the special effects were rather good, but it is one movie we will never watch again, and with that we were off to bed.
