At First Glance,

this Canadian 1944 5 cent coin,

does not look anything special, but to a Canadian at the time it was issued it had a special meaning, it was a good example of Steganography, that is the practice of concealing a file, message, image, or video within another file, message, image, or video, the word steganography combines the Greek words steganos (στεγανός), meaning "covered, concealed, or protected", and graphein (γράφειν) meaning "writing", but where is the message? it reads, 'WE WIN WHEN WE WORK WILLINGLY' it helps if you read Morse code, abandoned in 1999, look carefully at the date side of the coin, around the edge of it you will see the Morse code series of dots and dashes, and there is the message, for the issue of these coins have a look hereas an aside the coin was reissued in 2005 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of V-E Day.
