The Bugmen Called Yesterday,

to say there were arriving at 09.30 this morning,

 and they did,

if only everything in life was as reliable as this company,

we pottered about the house during the day, then glad rags on,

and we were out to Momento Beach for our evening meal,

we made our way past the bar,

 Christmas tree,

 and motorcycle for sale,

 to the pool,

 and restaurant outdoor seating area,

 all nicely illuminated,

in the early evening there was plenty of poolside seating available as we arrived at 6.30 in the evening, but in a couple of hours there was not an outside seat to be had,

so a look at the menu,

 as some complimentary,

 finger food arrived,

 decision made,

Caesar salad for Diana, there were two sizes available, this was the small size,

for myself a selection of cold cuts,

 and a bottle of bubbly,

again there were two sized portions on offer, I chose the small size,

Diana's choice for her main course arrived,

 it was huge,

a kebab of chicken, onions and tomatoes, underneath the kebab a huge portion of fried potatoes,

 for myself flambeed prawns,

again a choice, 10 or 20, I chose 20,

Diana took a picture of our poolside table,

then one of the waitresses offered to take a picture of both of us,

on to desserts, although I have to say we do take our time between courses, for Diana profiteroles,

they looked so nice I regretted my decision for dessert,

  until it arrived,

  baked Alaska,

  with brandy,

lots of brandy poured over it!

 it looked,

and was after blowing it out,

  delicious,

the restaurant kindly gave us both a complimentary after dinner lemon slightly alcoholic tipple, what a fabulous meal, the bill for both of us including Diana's coke and my bubbly was 2,310 baht, (at today's rate £52.45 or $64.16), we will be back!

arriving home we rounded the evening off by watching Prometheus, we had watched it before on television, I thought it was so good we bought it ion Blu ray, here is what we wrote the first time we watched it, 'a team of scientists travels through the universe on the spaceship "Prometheus" on a voyage to investigate Alien life forms, I can best describe it as another Aliens movie, but with a much more complicated plot and special effects, scary in a number of places, also lots of slime and goo, arrange to eat after rather than before watching would be my advice', and with that we were off to bed.
