From The Huge Moon Installations,

back to earth,

for these small insect sculptures at a 1:1 scale,

they are the passion of Noriyuki Saitoh,
who creates each of the creatures’ wings, legs, and antennae from thinly sliced bamboo,

the attention to detail is amazing,

 each lovingly created,

 as if they were real,

and some given realistic situations to appear in,

I just can not imagine cutting bamboo so fine,

You can see more of Saitoh’s detailed creations, including a behind-the-scenes peek of his sculptural process, on TwitterFacebook, and Behance, what an amazing craftsman he really is.
