a red sky at night,
I thought it meant the next day would be fine, well it was not! looking at the ground first thing in the morning, it had been raining most of the night and was still raining now, the good thing was that it had stopped in the evening, so it was glad rags on, and we were out,
to Cherry's, for their Wednesday and Saturday 450 baht International buffet,
a quick look at what was on offer, the salad bar,
lots of starters,
which were replenished as the plates became empty,
sushi,
new for this evening, deep fried wrapped pork with Chinese noodles,
pizza and garlic bread,
tom yum goong, and soup of the day, herb,
also new for this week onion rings,
there was also the choice of 18 or so covered dishes,
a choice of three meats,
as well as barbecued prawns, stuffed rock lobsters and mussels,
and a few kebabs,
on to desserts,
a nice selection as you might expect,
so eyes down,
and tuck in, tonight we were joined by Mr. Tony,
Diana had made her decision,
well we all had,
next course, fish and spinach for Mr. Tony,
and for myself,
a selection of meats, we followed the meal with coffees,
Cherry's is on the Third Road, opposite what was once the X-Cite disco, where tonight on the ground it once stood on,
there was a fun fair there this evening,
with all manner of rides and prizes to be won,
we passed the LK Presidential as Mr. Tony kindly gave us a ride home,
after dropping us off and saying our farewells we walked along,
a very deserted Dongtan Beach Road,
then into the walkway to our condominium,
then it was feet up for the Free State of Jones, a little slow at times and almost a documentary of one mans fight against the Confederacy, of which he was a member, that went on long past the end of the war, for the fascinating true story of Jones County, have a look here, and with the end of that, we were off to bed.
