We Both Went To Bromley,

Diana to catch the second bus of 2 on her way to work,

for myself through a wet, cold and windy Market Square,

to Lakeland to exchange our now empty CO2 cylinder, arriving home, in the afternoon I decoded to share it with some school friends, the couple I had learned of in school, Gilbert and Sullivan, I decided to watch the Mikado, the first time, in my time at school when we learned that some of the characters had names like Nanki-Poo, Yum-Yum, Ko-Ko, Pooh-Bah, Pish-Tush and Go-To amongst others, after the titters of laughter died down, the story of Mikado was told to us,

after listening to records of the play a few times over the years, (there were no DVDs or CDs in those days), two favorites of almost everybody in the class was 'Two Little Maids Are We', above,

and who can forget, 'I've Got A Little List', the class divided up into sections to sing along with each verse and repeated lines, as you might imagine at school every transgression by a pupil would result in a shout of 'Your On The list!', for weeks after, basically for each third year as a part of our English Literature lessons, the play was listened to as part of the curriculum, so every year at a certain time through the school year the play was studied, and every year that particular class could be heard shouting the famous line, such fun!

after my evening meal, a Western, The Outlaw Josey Wales, (1976), a real gritty film, which I somehow kept thinking could be the precursor for Unforgiven, (1982),

just before midnight Diana called, so off to the bus stop arriving home feet up for this weeks episode of Cornwall:This Fishing Life, the story of fishing as it really is, straight from the skippers mouths, this week's episode by shear happenstance based around Newlyn, where we were just last week, with the end of this weeks thoroughly enjoyable episode, we were off to bed.
