We Were Getting Low On Milk,

and a few other things,

so off to Waitrose, where there was hardly anyone in the queue, the cashier told me that since Monday most people had gone back to work and things were now almost back to normal,

and where we live the car park at the front of the building reflected that, ours was the only car in it,

knowing that Mark normally has a pint at the Mansion on Wednesdays, I thought I would join him,

 so into the park,

making my way to the mansion,

 and into the courtyard,

I found the beer bar, and had a chat with Will who was the host for the afternoon,

there were a few people in the gardens,

but nothing like the numbers of a few weeks ago, I think Mark knew what was going to happen next, the skies opened up, and whilst there was lots of places to sit, there were no places where you could be out of the rain,

so in between showers I made my way home,

Steve called round in the afternoon and dropped off more produce that he and Kai had grown, many thanks indeed, after he left Diana was soon home, so a pre-meal sherry it was then,

for our starter Diana had made a spicy Marsala sauce to go with the poppadoms,

 'Cheers!',

after sharing the poppadoms, Diana moved to her end of the table,

we had a few Indian dishes, of chicken, lamb, vegetables and rice, delicious,

and for dessert, a banoffee pie, with lashings of fresh cream,

another 'Cheers!', after our meal we spent the evening watching television, rounding the evening off with one from New Tricks and another from Silent Witness, just after midnight we were then off to bed.
