Au Bon Coin

not easy to find, but worth the effort,
the sign out side the restaurant, if you want to go there take the road almost opposite the Sugar hut, go down soi 5, after the road forks keep on soi 5 it is the second on the left, so you are now going towards soi 6, you will then see the restaurant on the left hand side about 100 meters along,

outside the restaurant,

looking in to the dinning room,
Diana inside the restaurant,

Da,

and Jeff

Jeff in the wine cellar,

well, I had to have a look as well!
looking at the menus,
inside Au Bon Coin,
pate starters,
mixed cold cuts for Jeff,
another picture of the cold cuts,
pork stuffed squid for Diana,
and mussels in a white wine sauce for me,
we also had potatoes and shredded beef and a mixed salad,
on to the main courses, chicken in a white wine sauce for Diana,
fillet of red snapper for Da,
grilled chicken for Jeff,
and for me roast leg of lamb,
for desert Da, Diana and Jeff all had ice cream, for me I had this huge creme bula, but it had a rhubarb base, totally delicious! and with the compliments of the chef, these arrived, light sponge soaked in calvados, om the way out Da spotted this strange plant, none of us had seen this one before,
it has waxy leaves and this strange looking flower,

remember this is the sign to look for if you want to go there, thoroughly recommended, the portions were huge, the total for the meal and drinks was 2,100 per couple.
