we took our own wine and paid a small corkage charge,
complementary sausage rolled in bacon,
Diana had lobster bisque soup for her starter,
Jeff had vegetables and sliced meats,
I had mushrooms and garlic bread,
Jeff and Da pondering the main course, Da had breaded veal cutlet and freedom fries,
Jeff had chicken with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes,
Diana had fillet of pork with Swiss style potatoes,
and for me a plain steak with no sauce and potatoes,
and another Ah! for us,
after a friendly "Hello" from Hugh,
ice cream topped with nuts, for Da and Jeff,
coffee cake with ice cream and raspberry hi-lights for Diana and myself,
looking in to the restaurant from the outside,
the outside seating area,
after the meal a pose for the camera,
Da, Jeff and Diana,
on our way home, a lovely meal, with nice background music, the food and ambiance were first class, also there was no hurrying the meal, it is nice I feel to have a break between courses and enjoy a good conversation, the price of the meal I thought was a very reasonable 1,700 per couple including a tip, but the bottle of wine we brought with us was a further 580 baht, but all in all a really nice meal with a nicely rounded choice of dishes to choose from.
