a spur is taken off the inner one which leads down to a turntable and 5 engine roundhouse,
the darken area is a small freight yard,
next job is to insert the turntable into the base board and secure the roundhouse,
a closer view of both,
the final position of the turntable with a bridge over the stream,
the 4 bridges,
work over so I settled down to watch a roughly 1 hour DVD "The Lost Railways" a look at Britain's lost railways since the 1950's, some would say the golden age of steam, the DVD is described here, but you have to log in,
after that Steve (B2) and Laura called in, water for Laura, vodka and soda for Steve and myself,
after they left we watched the 1959 film "On The Beach" a post nuclear war film where the people of earth are doomed as a radio active cloud makes it's way across the globe, quite scary and thought provoking at the time and a good though much more serious follow on to Dr. Strangelove that we watched last night, then on to part 3 of the first series of The Tudors, it must be me but I missed so much watching it the first time, of course we are watching the full version as seen in the UK, it could be that the programs over here have been cut to fit in with time schedules to make room for other programs, but eminently watchable for the second time, then of to bed!

Glad to see the railroad coming along Stan. Nice job. I'm enjoying the photos.
Dear Jil, having a great time on the rails, as friends have said I sort of run out of steam and hit the buffers! But on to the next few days I will be installing the turntable after we have bought a drill, best regards, Stan and Diana.
