this is just a typical bike repair shop, new plug, oil change, check the brakes, chain oil, air filter clean etc, 250 baht, 35 minuets later and off we go! we then dropped the printer off and left our phone number for when it is ready to pick up, whilst in the center we called into one of the phone repair shops, whilst I had been able to get on the Internet in the UK no such luck here, but the repair shop could not help me, I needed a set of data from AIS, luckily on the same floor there was a TeleWest store, so after the lady there made many phone calls and spent 30 minuets or so tapping things into the phone, I was on the web! no charge, that was a first so a little contribution to her evenings meal was made! then off to Friendship for the shopping,
Mark called in after we arrived home and told me he had seen a Royal Enfield for sale, so after a cup of tea off we went, it was a much hacked about 30 year old 350c.c. Bullet, 50,000 baht but no green book, so effectively you cannot tax or insure it or get a number plate for it, also all spares would have to be brought in from the UK or India, no problem if the bike was brand new, but this one needed so much done to it,
only a slight oil leak, but with so many other things broken or missing who ever decides to make this one as good as new is opening up a real can of worms,
on the way back health and safety scaffolding, hey but it works! by now Jay and Precil had arrived so no working on the trains for me,
Precil and Diana making a start on the evenings meal cottage pie,
Jay and Mr. Tony,
