first to arrive was Jay and Precil, Diana today decided to fry some fish and chips for us, 
next Mr. Tony called in, he very kindly brought around his Apple iShuffle charger, basically I had bought Diana a iShuffle in the UK, the 1 GB model, it plays about 200 songs and is small so that you can clip it to your clothes, it was about £26 in duty free, when we got home I tried to charge it, for some reason it does not come with a battery charger, you have to find a USB port at the back of your computer and charge it through there,
but of course as Mr. Tony and myself found out it did not work that way, he took his to the Apple shop in IT City and was told it will only charge from an Apple computer, if you do not have one you HAVE to buy the Apple charger, as we both said pity we were not told that at the time, in the UK the charger was £24, Mr. Tony and myself feel totally conned by Apple, no warning on the box about not being able to use it without an Apple computer, what is worse I feel Apple knew about this, hence selling the charger separately, you could say the charger was for people who do not own a computer to charge it, BUT, if you do not own a computer how do you put songs on it?

Tom now retired arrived and luckily could stay longer than usual as he did not have to go to the bar,
Mark also called in with a delicious cooked chicken, also Mr. Tony brought around a home cooked chicken dish called Laab-Namtok, which was absolutely delicious, basically the season mix is about 14 baht, here is the recipe, first take some cooked chicken/beef/pork dice into small pieces, place in a saucepan with one quarter cup of water in the bottom, chop up 1 or 2 red onions to taste, heat, stir in the packet of seasoning till it has dissolved and the mixture is warm, when the majority of the water has evaporated and mix with fresh herbs any or all of these the basil being favorite, basil, coriander, mint and serve,
and this is the packet to look for, it is available in Tesco's, Foodland Friendship etc,
Diana was busy cooking fish and chips for everyone, home made batter, just like Mum makes,
Mike was enjoying his meal, as a matter of fact everybody said how nice the food was, so many thanks to everybody for bring some thing around and to Diana and the girls for cooking and looking after us,
then after the meal the ice cream ladies with rum and raisin and chocolate nut, for all of us a nice evening chatting and putting the world to rights, of course no Saturday would be complete without a few jokes,
told with apologies to blond ladies,
a blond hurried into the emergency room late one night with the tip of her index finger shot off, 'How did this happen?' the emergency room doctor asked her
'Well, I was trying to commit suicide,' the blond replied.
'What?' sputtered the doctor, 'You tried to commit suicide by shooting off your finger?'
well I put the gun to my ear, and I thought: 'This is going to make a loud noise, so I put my finger in my other ear before I pulled the trigger.

a blonde goes into work one morning crying her eyes out, Her boss asked sympathetically,
'What's the matter?' The blonde replies, 'Early this morning I got a phone call saying that my mother had passed away.'
The boss, feeling sorry for her, says, 'Why don't you go home for the day? Take the day off to relax and rest.' 'Thanks, but I'd be better off here.. I need to keep my mind off it and I have the best chance of doing that here.'
The boss agrees and allows the blonde to work as usual. A couple of hours pass and the boss decides to check on the blonde. He looks out from his office and sees the blonde crying hysterically. '
What's so bad now? Are you gonna be okay?' he asks.
'No!' exclaims the blonde. 'I just received a horrible call from my sister. Her mother died, too!'
