We Woke Up A Bit Late,

and I had to buy an electric drill to make some holes in the railway base board, if you need to buy anything like that this is the place I would recommend, True Value, if you are coming from Bangkok on the Sumkivit highway as you go past Soi Kaol Telow on your left then Soi Theprisit on your right it is about 50 meters along on the left,
just opposite the Retail Outlet, the staff their are friendly, the two that I spoke to spoke reasonable English, also they offer a 5% off deal on subsequent purchases and a lucky dip,
of course as we were almost opposite TESCO we had to stop in for a ice cream,
so much choice,
chocolate special for Diana and a milk shake for me,
no, Diana did not really eat two, one was my milk shake,
I attached the drive for the turntable and drilled the hole for the motor and gearbox in the base board, then it was time to go,
off to the market on Theprisit, we were a little bit early,
it was still light but the sun was low, not many people around at 5.30,
plenty of room to move around,
Diana was going to buy some sushi for my evening meal, but due to communications break down it translated as a new pair of shoes!
this is the small pet section, a few shops selling fish rabbits, hamster, cats and dogs, out here Huskies seem to be quite popular, there are two on the left looking for new homes,
dresses and matching sun glasses,
handbags,
some of the food stalls, still not many people about,
we then met Mike and Riza at the beer stall,
the girls back after the first round of shopping,
"Cheers!" from Mike and Myself,
and the girls called Go, so now the three of them were bringing shopping back for Mike and myself to look after,
then it was all back to our place, Mike and myself watched some more of Mark Williams and then Battleships at War, lots of footage I had not seen before, but a few mistakes when it came to naming ships, the worst being when the commentator named a ship the Bismarck and showed a ship with a 3 guns per turret, (the Bismarck only has 2 guns per turret) but enjoyable nether the less,
after Mike and Riza had left we settled down to watch the rest of The Ballad Of Cable Hogue, which Diana found amusing in places and sad in others, for me a much underrated film, thoroughly enjoyable, then off to bed.
