Whilst Still Thinking About The Moscow Millionaires Weekend,
I wondered how much a bottle of good wine would be to go with our next meal out,
well the answer is a staggering £105,000, or $160,000 a bottle, for that price I thought you would have got at least the case, but that is for just one bottle, it was a Bordeaux, a 1787 Chateau Lafite, and, according to The Guinness Book of World Records, 18 years later it still is the world's most expensive bottle of wine,
however some 'modern' wines can go for a penny or two, a Montrachet 1978 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti that was hammered down at Sotheby's in New York in 2001, the lot of seven bottles fetched $167,500, or $23,929 per bottle, but this was caused by two collectors that refused to back down at the auction,
so now to next week it will be the 530 baht bottle of Corallo for us!
