MERRY CHRISTMAS!

from Diana and myself, we are going to be out and about so this will be our last post for a few days, so have fun, drink and be merry! for Christmas eve we went to the nail lady in Tuc Com for Diana to have her nails painted for Christmas,
the problem is there are so many designs to chose from, eventually butterflies and flowers was chosen, so the undercoats are applied first,
then some glitter,
and the first of the flowers,
the two middle fingers will have the butterflies,
first the butterfly bodies,
then the wings,
not forgetting the thumbs, or as the translation from Thai would say 'head finger,' in case you are wondering your big toe translates as 'head finger foot,' so I have been told,
next pay the insurance for the Honda bike at Jack Levy's insurance office, then to the bike shop, the rear light had failed on the Kawasaki so a new bulb was fitted for 50 baht, then back home,
to pick up the Honda which needed a new battery, no amount of recharging would bring it back to life, new battery 500 baht, the repair shop has been doing well out of us today!
next stop the Friday market, Diana by the pretty in pink stall,
no moon today, but if you look really carefully there is a speck of black in the sky, one of those micro lights was doing a fly past,
this week opposite the bar a stage had been set up, the owners of the market decided to hold a 'coverdance' contest, I must admit I do not have the faintest idea of what a coverdance is,
there were plenty of seats available, as it happened no where near enough,
then a quick stroll through the pet/plant section, things out here have been getting a bit chilly, with the temperature plunging at night as low as 24, (75 degrees Fahrenheit in real money), at night, so to keep your dog warm in the cold chill out here a range of dog coats are now available to keep your pet pooch warm, ah!
Diana arrived back at the bar with a snack or two,
then the start of the show,
it appears that coverdancing consists of a group of people dancing in time to music, rather like the Olympic discipline of unsynchronized dancing, that was sort of a oxymoron,
after taking the picture back to the bar for some liquid refreshment,
by this time the whole area had become totally packed with spectators,
then who should walk past? non other than this years Miss Tiffany,
then the next dance troupe were on stage,
another friend of ours from Sisterzs then came over to say hi, it is surprising the number of people that walk by at the market that we know,
by now it was getting late, so time to head home, Diana has decided she does not want a pink 3 wheeled bike, she now wants one of theses,
a Ferrari red one!
then Jeff and Da called in for a drink or three,
next stop The Punch and Judy, so a huge meal, well it was very exhausting drinking all of that wine!
'Cheers!' from us,
well from all of us,
ah!
then back to 388,
for another attack on the wine box!
but before Jeff and Da left the fish had to be fed, the fish must have thought it was Christmas with the light left on so late!
and a goodnight from us, once again a Merry Christmas to all from Diana and myself, by the time you read this the presents will be open and we will be looking forward to Christmas lunch, as I said before this will be the last post for a couple of days, but as some one once said, 'we will be back!' Merry Christmas!

Stan I was happy to see Jeff and Da are doing well and visiting you. I was confused when one day they just disappeared from the blog. Merry Christmas from South Korea. Mike

Dear Seth, many thanks for your kind Christmas wishes, I have to admit the fact that I did not have a clue who the young lady was that talked to us until she left, then Diana reminded me of where we had meet her, (short term memory shot to pieces!), now in Hawaiian do you know what a humuhumunukunukuapua is? yep you guessed it! The Hawaiian state fish, best regards, Stan and Diana.
