Mr. Tony called round for a couple of hours, for a coffee and a chat, then all to soon we were of to the Friday night market,
during the day I called round here to the 3BB shop, to pay our Internet bill, now hidden by stalls, the strange thing is that the office is open to late in the evening for business, but they can not take any money after 5.00 in the afternoon which is too early for us to go to the market as most of the stalls have not even started to set up by then,
the sky looked a little dark and overcast,
but luckily the rain held of till after we arrived home, opposite the bar for this week was a car dealership,
bar-b-qued fish ready to go,
there were a few new stalls, like this one, Emo Egg,
I still wince every time I look at this boiling oil on the corner,
another couple of 'mini' stalls, two where one would normally be, great way to halve operating costs,
the aquatic shop was open, one of only three left here,
then back to the bar for a beer with Bill,
Diana returned with mango's and lychee's, yummy!
Juu and his wife also called by so the girls as usual went off on a shopping fest,
we watched a couple of old favorites today, firstly Excalibur, Uthur Pendragon is given the mystical sword Excalibur by the wizard Merlyn. At his death Uthur buries the sword into a stone, and the next man that can pull it out will be King of England, great story and film, at 2 hours 20 minutes not a short film either,
The Abominable Dr. Phibes followed, doctors are being murdered in a bizarre manner: bats, bees, killer frog masks, etc., which represent the nine Biblical plagues, the crimes are orchestrated by a demented organ player with the help of his mute assistant, Vincent Price at his best,
the a couple from MI5, Episode #4.3, when 6 local Councillors in East London switch their allegiance to the right-wing British Way party, there is fear of race rioting in the area. MI-5 is called in to determine - and stop - any agents provocateurs that may be instigating activity in the local community, Episode #4.4, after an agent is killed in Istanbul, MI-5 fears that a known terrorist, Yazdi, is trying to infiltrate the UK to stage an attack, but where and when? then for us off to bed.
