We Started Our Day Early At McDonald's,

so then off to do some window shopping, a quick pose by Ronald, we had arranged to meet Joe later in the day, then pick up Ryan and head for a mutual friends newly open restaurant for a late lunch, things did not go according to plan, whilst waiting to turn right as we did so another motorist decided to over take on the wrong side of the road, knocking Joe and us along the road, the good news is that no one was seriously injured and no one was drinking, but it grounded us for over an hour or two,

the impact was on the drivers, Joe's side of the car, pushing the front of the car off,

it did not seem like a lot of damage to the BMW, but the impact had locked all 4 wheels up,

it seems that only a little knock seizes up the entire drive train,

except for the number plate Joe's tough as old boots car seems to be fine, just sans the front bumper,

luckily Ryan was nearby and took us to where we were going a newly opened restaurant the Phileas Fogg, the fictional character from Jules Verne, who set out to travel around the world in 80 days,

it was huge,

a quick look at the menu and we were in,

big inside and out,

we settled for a table at the front,

lots of travel memorabilia on the ceiling,

a close up of some of it,

then one of the Thai boxing traveling loudspeaker trucks comes by,

after a starter the main course arrives,

hamburgers all round,

and for me as well 'Cheers!', Thai food for Diana,

we then went to watch the surf hitting the beach,

not many here but it is the low season,

that's the way to do it! then back to the hotel to get ready for this evening,
