the exhibition ‘Leonardo Da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan’ is due to open in November and has been described as 'the most complete display of Leonardo's rare surviving paintings ever held', hopefully this painting will be one of the exhibits, great painting, just think he was the same age as me when he painted it, 61 years old, as far as me painting I struggle to complete a painting by numbers! but here's a thought, I wonder who the 'expert' was at Sotheby's who judge it to be by a student of Da Vinci's and let it go for £45!
