We Had A Quiet Day,

I just popped along to the bank,

and filled the bike with fuel, but in the evening we were off,

to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road, looking towards Jomtien,

lots of cloud, we did in fact feel a few drops of rain as we were driving to the market,

looking inland lots of cloud too,

last week striped walking, barking, light flashing dogs, this week wavy line ones,

and new for this week, land hermit crabs

I have seen them often on sale as pets in the UK and have heard that there are a number of shops selling them in the USA and Europe,

but this is the first time I have seen them for sale here in Thailand,

there were lots to chose from, from small,

to large, not a great photograph as these were in a glass aquarium, but as with all pets have a look at what they need first before buying

pile it high and sell it cheap! the mantra of Jack Cohen way back in the early 20th century before he founded Tesco,

I walked along a different aisle today, and saw this lady selling coconut ice cream, a bit too cold for that I would have thought,

behind the bar tonight a stall selling assorted goods including cuddly toys, and a shoe stall,

the peanut seller at his usual place at the end of the steps,

 where the auction normally is,

tonight there were a number of numbered goods, some sort of lucky draw I guess,

the fruit stall back as usual,

the steel works have now had the cross pieces put in place over the pet section,

 at the pet stall,

1 pack of dry food and 3 boxes of wet food for the cats,

sunset over the market, on the left there appears to be a number of support pillars increasing in height as they go into the distance, getting ready for the car ramp for the above market car park I am guessing,

a quick look at the stall selling bits and pieces opposite the bar,

it still looked cloudy looking inland,

and it still looked cloudy as night fell,

then a nice surprise, Nicky joined Brian at the bar,

along with his wife Sa and some of her relatives, we chatted the evening away, after saying our farewells we made a move for home,

where we were greeted with the delicious aroma of a chicken casserole,

and then a nice surprise Diana had bought a tiramisu for myself,

and a slice of Black Forest gâteau for herself,

after The Family Chase we watched the first part of Gulliver's Travels, the part of Lemuel Gulliver played supremely well by Ted Danson, of Cheers fame, what a great actor he truly is, we rounded the evening off with a few more Bargain Hunts and with that we were off to bed.
