At Long Last,

the windows in the hall are starting the final stage of completion,

the wood around both sets of windows had rotted and water was on occasion dribbling into the hall,

on this side the windows refitted with new wooden frames with no problems,

how ever on this side the lead around the glass had to be replaced, plus a number of the glasses were cracked and had to be repainted, the problem being as the windows were removed the gentleman that replaces the lead went on holiday, and you guessed it, as he finished removing the glasses in the windows after he returned, and sent the broken ones to the artist that paints the scenes on the glass, the artist went on holiday!

anyway the windows are finished now, so new wooden frames are being fitted, and next week the refurbished windows will be installed,

today aquarium maintenance, I normally give the protein skimmer a quick clean,

but today armed with a old toothbrush and a pot scourer it was a tottal stripdown of the unit,

I replaced the carbon slide and other parts that needed replacing,

and here it is, as good as new,

after my evening meal, I meet up with Steve,

we wandered along to the club for a couple of beers, then after saying our farewells, I went home to wait for the call from Diana,

just before midnight we meet up and walked home, where it was feet up for a nightcap, and a coffee for Diana, with that we were off to bed.
