We Had A Quiet Day At Home,

Diana was going to work on the late shift,

after Diana left for work and my evening meal, I meet with Steve and we made our way to Bickley railway station,

after a bit of a walk we arrived here, at The Lord Holmesdale,

for some live music from the Part Time Punks,

one of the band is a fellow runner of Steve's,

if you are interested in live music at this venue here is the programme of upcoming events,

it was great to listen to some of my goldie oldies especially from The Stranglers,

after a couple of hours we made a move for home,

 the station deserted,

as we approached the park Steve went home as did I,

then after midnight Diana called, so I walked to the bus stop to pick her up,

then feet up and we continued to watch The King, which was absolutely excellent, the film is an adaptation of Shakespeare's group of historical plays called The Henriad, the film must have struck a nerve as it upset viewers in some quarters about the facts of the Battle of Agincourt, but it was for us still a great film about our great triumph on the field of battle, and how the reluctant King rose to the task before him, as portrayed in the film, he successfully beat the French forces at the Battle of Agincourt, nearing the complete conquering of France, yes he was brutal, but in those times who was not? and with that we were off to bed.
