Diana Was At Work,

on early shift,

for myself a lazy day, so on to part 19 of Neil and myself in our travels in India,

in this video we look at some barges being constructed,

we arrive in the outskirts of Kolkata, formerly Calcutta in the rush hour,

and watched school kids being taken to school in tricycles,

some covered,

some open,

and had a swimming snake pay us a visit as we looked at a local fish breeding farm, but here instead of aquariums, the fish were housed in clay pots with roof tiles over them to stop them overheating,

the workers live on the farm, we then looked at the scourge of the Far East, water hyacinth, (Pontederia crassipes, formerly Eichhornia crassipes), a plant from South America which takes over everywhere it gets a foothold in, then back into the traffic to our next port of call,

and here is the video above, I have to keep them short or they will not upload to Blogspot, when Diana returned home it was time for,

The People That Time Forgot, 1977, all the creatures you could wish for and some of the natives speak English, what more could you want? great story, but rather dated even when it was released, this was the year of Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but still good fun to watch, after our evening meal it was our usual BattleBots, followed by 2 from Midsomer Murder before we were off to bed.
